Kevin Klijn
Translation trainee
My name is Kevin Klijn. I am 22 and starting today, I get to do an internship at Exito Translations. I started my bachelor studies in Applied Linguistics at the University of Antwerp in 2018. The two foreign languages I chose are German and Chinese. Last year I successfully finished those studies and went on to do the Master’s in Translation with the same languages. I hope to finish this Master in September, after my exam and internship period.
As far back as secondary school, I discovered that languages were my cup of tea; German and French were both part of my curriculum. Actually, I knew I wanted to be a translator, even before my studies in Antwerp, where I have been happily rooming now for almost five years. I’m happy that I can put my passion for languages, together with the knowledge I gained over the past few years, into practice and am looking forward to seeing what Exito has in store for me!
