Project manager and translator
After obtaining a BA in English Language and Culture at Radboud University in 2021, Demi knew for sure: I want to be a translator! She chose the Master’s in Professional Translation English > Dutch at the University of Utrecht. Demi became part of the Exito team when she had to do an internship for her Master’s.
She liked it so much at Exito that she kept working as a translator and project manager while completing her studies. In the meantime, she has successfully obtained her Master’s degree and can now apply in practice all the knowledge she gained, working for Exito three days a week.
When I started studying English, people often said to me: “What can you do with that, besides becoming a teacher or a translator?”. I used to strongly oppose that. They are stereotype examples and my BA degree offered so much more. But in the end, I actually became a stereotype myself.
